Herdade da Bombeira
Herdade da Bombeira was born from a direct connection to the Alentejo region and the Guadiana River. In 1999, a group of friends passionate about nature decided to plant vines on the estate, in an area with privileged soils near Mértola. The first phase was marked by a commitment to 18 hectares of vineyards, aiming to enhance an area with a strong landscape and wine-growing identity.
The project grew with a range focused on the Alentejo region, including whites, rosés, and reds. The brand works with varieties such as Arinto, Chardonnay, Syrah, Touriga Nacional, and Trincadeira, maintaining a clear interpretation of the region and the warm southern climate. The producer presents wines with different profiles, from entry-level references to single-varietal and Reserve selections, always focusing on the expression of the estate and the consistency of production.
Herdade da Bombeira is an interesting choice for those seeking Alentejo wines with a marked origin, a connection to the Guadiana River, and a recent but coherent history. The collection combines the freshness of white wines, the aromatic expression of rosé, and the structure of red wines, in an approach that respects the landscape of Mértola and the viticultural vocation of the property.
