Quinta do Mondego

Quinta do Mondego is located on the banks of the river that gives it its name, in Nelas, the heart of the Dão DOC. The granitic terroir, the altitude, and the summer days moderated by cool nights shape wines with tense, aromatic, and highly gastronomic profiles. Joana Cunha's winemaking prioritizes manual harvesting, careful vinification, and rigorous aging to preserve the identity of the grape varieties and the typical finesse of the Dão region.

In the white wines, Encruzado shines in stainless steel, barrel, and skin-tight versions; there is also a single-varietal Gouveio. In the red wines, Touriga Nacional, Jaen, and Tinta Roriz show clean fruit, freshness, and polished tannins. The line also includes a Family Blend for relaxed moments, a delicately blended Rosé, and the special edition Munda Phoenix, a tribute to the resilience of the estate.

The result is precise, elegant wines with excellent gastronomic potential—perfect for the table and the cellar.
