ODE Winery
ODE Winery is one of those wineries that seems to have been "discovered" before it was built: a property on the Tagus River, in Vila Chã de Ourique (Cartaxo), about 45 minutes from Lisbon, where wine is just one part of a larger project—winery, hospitality, and rural life, all in perfect harmony.
The winery follows a simple yet demanding principle: "Minimal Intervention, Maximum Attention." In other words, less embellishment and more detail: the perfect harvest, respect for the microclimate, and a focus on elegant, fresh wines true to the profile of each variety.
The winemaking direction is in the hands of Maria Vicente, with vast experience and a very practical (and very curious) approach to tasting and aging—from stainless steel to barrels and amphorae, always in search of the "cleanest" and most expressive version of the wine.
The result? A range that goes from the more fruity and precise side (Viognier, Arinto, Alvarinho) to interpretations with greater texture and depth (Ânfora, wines aged for longer periods and more special editions), always with that common trait: energy, balance and a finish that calls for food — and another sip.
