Casas Altas originates in Souropires, Pinhel, in the Beira Interior region, where high-altitude vineyards, granitic soils, and large temperature variations give rise to wines with a fresh, mineral, and gastronomic profile.

🍇 Region: Beira Interior, Pinhel sub-region.

🌱 Grape varieties: Baga and Rufete from old vines.

🌿 Vineyards: Old vineyards between 60 and over 100 years old, on slopes of about 650 meters, on poor granitic soils.

🛠️ Winemaking: Hand-harvested in 20 kg crates, sorted on a table, and fermented in stainless steel with temperature control.

⏳ Aging: After malolactic fermentation, aging in stainless steel, light filtration, and prolonged aging in the bottle.

👃 Organoleptic Test:
- Color: intense.
- Aroma: ripe fruit, rockrose, pine, and dried herbs.
- Palate: soft tannins, long finish and good aging potential.
