A signature wine from Quinta da Touriga-Chã , in Vila Nova de Foz Côa, Douro Superior (DOC Douro). A meticulously crafted wine, with carefully selected grapes and precise aging in stainless steel and barrels to preserve its elegance and character.

🍇 Region: Chã, Vila Nova de Foz Côa, Upper Douro

👨‍🔬 Winemaker: João Brito e Cunha (consultant), José Luís (resident)

🌱 Grapes: 70% Touriga Nacional, 20% Touriga Franca, 10% Tinta Roriz

🛠️ Winemaking: Grapes harvested between September 10th and 26th (in small 20kg boxes) with perfect phenolic ripeness. Fermentation took place in small stainless steel tanks with controlled temperature.

⏳ Aging: 12 months in seasoned French oak barrels of 225 liters (Coopers: Seguin Moreau and Taransaud)

🧪 Analysis:
- Alcohol content: 14.0% Vol. (20ºC)
- Total acidity: 5.2g/dm3 (Tartaric acid)
- pH: 3.72

👃 Organoleptic Test:
- Aroma: Intense and distinct aromas where fruity character predominates with light notes at the end resulting from aging in used barrels.
- Palate: On the palate it shows balanced acidity, good fruit, very harmonious, balanced, complex.
Aftertaste: Fine, lively, long finish with tension.

🍽️ Serving suggestion: Pairs well with red meat dishes and cured meats.
