🌿 Vineyards: This Douro wine is produced with grapes from a single vineyard at Quinta da Água Alta, next to the Douro River. This vineyard is located in a cool, east-facing valley, making it perfect for producing the balanced grapes needed for this Douro wine.
🍇 Region: Douro

🌱 Grape Varieties: The grape varieties present at Quinta da Água Alta are diverse, from a special, almost extreme, Touriga vineyard.
🛠️ Winemaking: The grapes were harvested manually in September and subsequently transported in small crates. After selection at the winery entrance, they were destemmed, and alcoholic fermentation took place for one week in stainless steel tanks under temperature control. The wine then aged in French oak barrels for 12 months to gain structure and balance the tannins.
⏳ Aging: French oak barrels
