Wine & Soul Pintas Character 2022 is a vibrant and expressive red wine, produced from old vines with more than 30 indigenous Douro grape varieties . Created by winemakers Sandra Tavares da Silva and Jorge Serôdio Borges , this wine reflects Wine & Soul 's commitment to expressing all the richness of the terroir of Vale do Pinhão , in Douro DOC .
With traditional fermentation in granite presses and a prolonged aging of 18 months in French oak barrels , Pintas Character combines concentration, complexity and elegance, resulting in a sophisticated wine full of personality .
Tasting Notes
🍷 Color: Deep and intense ruby.
🌿 Aroma: Impressive, with fresh notes of plum, blackberry and black cherry , accompanied by subtle nuances of spices.
🍇 Flavor: Structured and elegant, with refined tannins and an excellent balance between freshness and concentration. The finish is long, persistent and striking.
