Alentejo regional wine from Herdade da Rocha, produced in Crato, in Portalegre, next to the Serra de São Mamede, with a profile marked by the freshness and identity of the terroir.
🍇 Region: Alentejo — Crato, Portalegre, next to the Serra de São Mamede.
👨🔬 Enologist: Sandra Chaves and Paulo Laureano.
🌱 Castes: 80% Alicante Bouschet and 20% Syrah.
🛠️ Vinification: Destemming and crushing, fermentation in stainless steel vats at 24 ºC for 6 to 7 days and prolonged post-fermentation maceration.
⏳ Stage: 18 months in French oak barrels.
🌿 Vineyards: Vineyards in Crato, municipality of Portalegre, next to the Serra de São Mamede.
🧪 Analysis:
- Alcohol content: 14.5%.
👃 Organoleptic test:
- Color: Grenade.
- Aroma: elegant and thin, with black fruit jams, spices, dark chocolate and toast.
- Mouth: fresh, structured and balanced, with a long and challenging finish.
