Description

🍇 Region: Beira Interior, Pinhel sub-region

🌿 Vineyards: 10–15 year old vineyards at 600m, poor granitic soils.

🌱 Grape varieties: Touriga Nacional (66%) and Alfrocheiro (33%)

🛠️ Winemaking: Hand-harvested, bunch selection, destemming and fermentation in stainless steel; separate vinification of grape varieties.

⏳ Aging: 15 months in used French oak + 9 months in bottle.

👨‍🔬 Winemaker: José Ribeiro Brandão

🧪 Analysis: 14.0% volume.

👃 Tasting notes: Intense ruby color; grapefruit, bergamot, ripe black fruit; broad and fresh palate; finish with dark chocolate, toast and spice.

🍽️ Serving temperature: 16–18 ºC
