MOB Jaen 2022 is an intense and captivating red wine, which expresses the most robust and generous side of the Jaen variety (also known as Mencía). Produced from vineyards located in Seia , at the foot of the Serra da Estrela , this wine benefits from one of the coldest climates in Dão , contributing to a slow and aromatic ripening of the grape.
With fermentation in stainless steel tanks to preserve the purity of the fruit, and aging for 12 months in used French oak barrels (225L) , this Jaen is balanced, with structure, ripe fruit, round tannins and a long, persistent finish.
