Edition III is a select group from Quinta da Extrema, born from small plots and meticulous work in choosing the best barrels.

🍇 Region: Upper Douro.

👨‍🔬 Winemaker: Jorge Rosa Santos and Rui Lopes.

🌱 Grapes: Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca.

🛠️ Winemaking: Limited production wine, created from special parcels and designed for depth, elegance and longevity.

⏳ Aging: At least 24 months of aging, with final selection of the best barrels, followed by a minimum additional aging period in the bottle.

🌿 Vineyards: Small plots in the Upper Douro, with low production and high quality concentration.

👃 Organoleptic Test:

• Color: deep ruby.
• Aroma: dark fruit, fine spice, floral notes and very well-integrated wood.
• Mouthfeel: structured, enveloping, elegant and very persistent.

⏳ Evolution Potential: Excellent guarding ability, revealing enormous aptitude for evolution in the basement.

🍽️ Serving: Serve between 16ºC and 18ºC. Ideal with roasted meats, game, oven-baked dishes, and aged cheeses.
