Quinta do Crasto Porto 40 Anos 75cl
Descripción
Designation of Origin: Port
Grape Varieties: Old Vines - Field Blend
Winemaking:
The grapes, sourced from old vines, were transported in plastic food crates and subjected to rigorous sorting upon arrival at the winery. After gentle crushing without destemming, they were sent to a traditional lagar (wine press) where they were foot-trodden by men at regular intervals. Subsequently, grape brandy was added, thus stopping fermentation.
Aging:
Crasto Porto Tawny 40 Years is the result of blending wines from various years, aged in Portuguese oak barrels for an average of 40 years.

With a deeply golden and brilliant hue, marked by amber reflections and delicate greenish nuances, the Crasto Tawny 40 Year Old demonstrates unparalleled aromatic complexity and intensity, the result of decades of aging.
