Quinta do Crasto Porto 30 Anos 75cl
Descripción
Designation of Origin: Port
Grape Varieties: Old Vines - Field Blend
Winemaking:
The grapes, sourced from old vines, were transported in plastic food crates and subjected to rigorous sorting upon arrival at the winery. After gentle crushing without destemming, they were sent to a traditional lagar (wine press) where they were foot-trodden by men at regular intervals. Subsequently, grape brandy was added, thus stopping fermentation.
Aging:
Crasto Porto Tawny 30 Years is the result of blending wines from different years, aged in 9000-liter Portuguese oak barrels for an average of 30 years.
Exam Grade:
With a brilliant amber color and coppery nuances, the Crasto 30-Year-Old Tawny presents remarkable complexity and aromatic intensity. On the nose, notes of dried fruit, caramelized figs, toasted almonds, and orange marmalade harmonize with hints of honey and subtle notes of spices and iodine. On the palate, it is concentrated with excellent volume and structure, offering a smooth and fresh texture. The finish is long, persistent, and extraordinarily complex.
