Founded in 2001 by Sandra Tavares da Silva and Jorge Serôdio Borges, Wine & Soul works with old Douro vines using a minimal intervention approach, seeking wines of great purity, concentration and elegance.

👨‍🔬 Winemaker: Sandra Tavares da Silva & Jorge Serôdio Borges.

🌱 Grape Varieties: Field blend with over 30 native grape varieties from Rio Grande do Sul.

🛠️ Winemaking: Selected, unstemmed grapes, foot-trodden in stone lagares (wine presses).

⏳ Aging: Over 20 years in used Portuguese chestnut casks, with a capacity of 630 liters.

🌿 Vineyards: Old vineyards located on the Manoella Farm.

👃 Organoleptic Tasting Notes: Bright amber color; complex and refined aroma with hazelnut, dried fruit, dried fig and nougat; expressive, elegant, fresh palate with a very long finish.

⏳ Potential for Evolution: Great longevity and ability to continue evolving in the bottle.

🍽️ Service: Excellent, slightly chilled, on its own or with dried fruits, aged cheeses and rich desserts.
