Founded in 2001 by Sandra Tavares da Silva and Jorge Serôdio Borges, Wine & Soul works with old Douro vines using a minimal intervention approach, seeking wines of great purity, concentration and elegance.

🍇 Region: Douro, originating from old, high-altitude vines destined for White Port Wine.

👨‍🔬 Winemaker: Sandra Tavares da Silva & Jorge Serôdio Borges.

🌱 Grape varieties: Field blend of Viosinho, Rabigato, Códega do Larinho and Gouveio.

🛠️ Winemaking: Fermentation in granite lagares with foot treading.

⏳ Stage: Approximately 10 years in used 630-liter casks at Fazenda Manoella Lodge.

🌿 Vineyards: Old, high-altitude vines in the Douro Valley.

🧪 Analysis:

• Alcohol content: 19.5% vol.

👃 Organoleptic Tasting Notes: Very beautiful color and appealing aroma with almonds, orange and white fig; on the palate it is rich, round, very fresh and with pronounced notes of dried fruit.

⏳ Potential for Evolution: Ready-to-drink profile, maintaining freshness and aromatic complexity.

🍽️ Serving suggestion: Excellent served slightly chilled, as an aperitif, with dried fruit, foie gras, or less sweet desserts.
