Vieira de Sousa Unoaked Douro Tinto 75cl is a wine from the Vieira de Sousa family, produced in the Douro region with a focus on expressing the terroir and elegance.

🌱 Grapes: Touriga Francesa, Touriga Nacional
🛠️ Winemaking: The grapes come from Quinta da Agua Alta, from a Touriga Francesa vineyard with some Touriga Nacional plants. The grapes are fully selected on a sorting table, followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. It aged only in stainless steel vats, in order to maintain its fruit character and texture, classic of Touriga Francesa. The year 2023 had a rainy and warm winter, followed by a warm and dry spring, and a normal summer in terms of rainfall, although warm. This forced us to harvest early.

👃 Organoleptic Test:
- Notes: Unoaked is a very fresh, concentrated wine with notes of red fruit, very rich in black berries.
🍽️ Serving: Serve at 14–16ºC (reds) or 10–12ºC (whites), depending on the style.
It pairs well with meat dishes, cheeses and charcuterie (red wines) or fish, seafood and poultry (white wines).
⏳ Potential for Evolution: Store in a cool, dark place; some styles benefit from bottle aging.
