🌱 Grapes: 100% Touriga Nacional.
🛠️ Winemaking: Hand-harvested, carefully selected bunches, and fermented in vats with prolonged maceration to extract color and structure.
⏳ Aging: Prolonged aging in French oak barrels followed by bottle aging before being released to the market.
🌿 Vineyards: Selected hillside vineyards in the São João de Lourosa region, with low production and a high concentration of fruit.
🧪 Analysis:
- Alcohol content: High and balanced alcohol content, typical of a great reserve from the Dão region.
👃 Organoleptic Test:
- Color: Deep and concentrated ruby.
- Aroma: Intense aroma of Touriga Nacional, with notes of violets, rockrose and ripe red fruits.
- Palate: Full-bodied, voluminous, firm but polished tannins, balanced acidity, and a long, persistent finish.
