Fonte do Ouro Farm

Quinta da Fonte do Ouro is one of Boas Quintas' flagship brands in the Dão region, created to showcase the most elegant, fresh, and gastronomic side of this area. In Mortágua, amidst vineyards, a winery, and a landscape marked by granite, wines are born with their own identity, balance, and a profile very faithful to the terroir.

Behind the project is Nuno Cancela de Abreu, founder of Boas Quintas in 1991 and heir to a long family agricultural and winemaking tradition. His vision has been clear from the beginning: to respect the origin, value Portuguese grape varieties, and create wines with personality, without losing precision, freshness, and the ability to evolve in the bottle.

In the Quinta da Fonte do Ouro range, the Dão region appears in different styles: vibrant whites, delicate rosés, and fine-textured reds, always with a signature of elegance. The project has also gained prominence with high-level examples with aging potential, such as the wines distinguished with the Nobre mention, proof of consistent and ambitious work.
