Description
Poças Reserva Tinto is a structured and elegant Douro Doc, produced from old vineyards and Touriga Nacional.
🍇 Region: douro
🌱 Castes: 80% old vineyards and 20% Touriga Nacional.
🛠️ Vinification: Temperature controlled fermentation with prolonged maceration.
⏳ Stage: New Allier French oak barrels of 300 liters.
🌿 Vineyards: Vineyards with 40–60 years in shale soils, in Ervedosa do Douro (Cima Corgo) and Numão (upper Douro).
👃 Organoleptic test:
- Color: Deep ruby.
- Aroma: Very intense, with notes of black fruits and apeis.
- Mouth: silky, fresh and firm, with forest fruits and a long and elegant finish.
🍽️ Service: Serve at 18ºC with ossobuco, oxtail, harbor-style guts and intense meat dishes.
