Poças Tinto is a Douro Doc produced with grapes from the Upper Douro and vinified at Quinta das Quartas.
🍇 Region: superior douro
🌱 Castes: 50% Touriga Nacional, 20% Touriga Franca, 20% Tinta Roriz and 10% Baroque Tinta.
🛠️ Vinification: grapes selected in the vineyard and cut by hand; Fermentation at controlled temperature.
⏳ Stage: 20% of the lot aged in French oak second-year barrels.
🌿 Vineyards: Vineyards with 20–25 years in shale soils in the sub-region of Numão.
👃 Organoleptic test:
- Color: Ruby.
- Aroma: Good aromatic intensity, with notes of ripe red fruit.
- Mouth: Fresh and balanced, with pronounced tannin and ripe fruit.
🍽️ Service: Accompanies beef with barbecue, roasted veal, meat lasagna, ravioli, ragu and oven dishes.
