Description

Morgado da Serra de Monchique pays homage to the Algarve through regional wines with a clean, modern profile and a strong gastronomic vocation.

🍇 Region: Algarve

👨‍🔬 Winemaker: João do Ó

🌱 Grape varieties: Aragonêz, Castelão, Syrah

🛠️ Winemaking: Light pressing. 48 hours of static settling and fermentation. Aged for 18 months in stainless steel tanks and then filtered.

🧪 Analysis:

  • Alcohol content: 12.5%

👃 Organoleptic Test:

  • Color: salmon color.
  • Aroma: Aroma of raspberry, cherry and notes of watermelon with a slight hint of wood.
  • Mouth: Light mineral and somewhat vegetal notes, with a long finish and good gastronomic potential.

🍽️ Serving: Serve at 10-12 ºC. Pairs well with fish dishes and grilled white meats.
