Dona Maria Amantis Reserva Rosé 2021 is an exceptional rosé produced at the emblematic Quinta Dona Maria , in Estremoz, in the heart of Alentejo . Made exclusively from the Touriga Nacional grape variety, it reveals a sophisticated and deep profile, the result of meticulous vinification and aging in French oak barrels.
The grapes, from 19-year-old vineyards planted in clay-limestone soils with marble influences , are hand-picked and fermented with precision, partly in stainless steel and partly in wood, with fine lees worked for 6 months.
Tasting notes:
- Color: Coppery pink, bright and very attractive.
- Aroma: Expressive and delicate, with notes of orange blossom , fresh raspberries and subtle hints of white roses .
- Palate: Mineral and fresh, with balanced acidity and a persistent flavor. Orange blossom and raspberry notes stand out again, with a slight sweetness that prolongs the aftertaste.
