Zambujeiro Especial 2019 is a rare jewel from Quinta do Zambujeiro , standing out for its limited and exclusive production, made only in exceptional harvests. Produced from the best plots of old vines on the property, this premium red wine is a tribute to the tradition and terroir of the Alentejo , in Borba .
Varieties and Winemaking
This wine is an exceptional blend , made with careful selection:
- 50% Touriga Nacional
- 25% Cabernet Sauvignon
- 25% Petit Verdot
The grapes are harvested and selected manually . Fermentation takes place in vats and small stainless steel tanks with temperature control, followed by a prolonged aging period of 36 months in French oak barrels . To preserve the purity of the wine, it was not filtered .

- Color: Deep and intense ruby.
- Aroma: Deeply complex, with notes of dried flowers, black tea, cedar and smoke , revealing sophisticated aromatic layers.
- Palate: Robust structure, with firm and elegant tannins , creamy texture and balanced acidity. It has a long and persistent finish, with an abundance of black fruits .
