Casa Cadaval Trincadeira Preta Vinhas Velhas 2019 is a wine of unique character, reflecting the authentic terroir of Casa Cadaval. Crafted exclusively from Trincadeira Preta grapes from over 70-year-old vines, this wine showcases an intense color and a complex bouquet combining fruity and spicy notes with balsamic, dried leaves, and cedar aromas. On the palate, it is elegant, with excellent acidity, silky tannins, and a long, persistent finish.
Vinification and Aging:
Hand-picked from old bush vines, the grapes undergo cold extraction followed by fermentation in lagares for two weeks. The wine is aged for 12 months in 500-liter French oak barrels, preserving its authentic identity and origin.
