Description

Bodegas Tradición, in Jerez de la Frontera, is dedicated to very aged Jerez wines and limited-production cognacs, with carefully selected batches and bottling.

🍇 Region: Spain, Andalusia, Jerez-Xérès-Sherry.

🌱 Grapes / Base: Palomino Fino and Pedro Ximénez.

🛠️ Winemaking: A blend of fortified wines aged in Jerez, combining the oxidative structure with the natural sweetness of Pedro Ximénez.

⏳ Stage: Traditional criaderas and solera system, with long aging in American oak casks.

👃 Organoleptic Test:

  • Bright mahogany color. Aromas of raisins, dried figs, dates, caramel, orange peel, and dried fruit. An enveloping, sweet palate, balanced by firm acidity and a long finish.

🍽️ Serving suggestion: Serve slightly chilled, between 10ºC and 12ºC, with desserts of dried fruit, blue cheese, foie gras or dark chocolate.
