Description
Almanua is a wine of discovery, creation, and innovation, produced in Requião, in the maritime terroir. Here, the versatility of Alvarinho is explored in combinations with other varieties planted in the same location. Alvarinho is always the majority, and the grape varieties for the blend are chosen each harvest. The winemaking follows the Mixtus concept, and the final wine results from fermentation in stainless steel and wood, the latter being light and used to give structure to the blend. In 2019, Manuel and Luís Cerdeiras selected the Arinto and Maria Gomes grape varieties for the final wine blend with Alvarinho.
