Description
🍇 Region: Dão (DOC)
🌱 Grape varieties: Touriga Nacional (50%) and Alfrocheiro (50%)
🛠️ Winemaking: Total destemming of the grapes and fermentation, followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks with selected yeasts at 28–30 °C. 14-day maceration with gentle pump-overs.
⏳ Aging: In 225L French oak barrels for 10 months. Bottling: Before bottling, the wine underwent only a light filtration through cellulose cartridges to preserve its integrity.
🧪 Analysis:
Alcohol content: 13.4% vol.
👃 Organoleptic Test:
- Color : ruby, brilliant.
Aroma : red berries, floral, clean fruit.
- Palate : fresh, elegant, firm tannins.
⏳ Potential for Evolution: Suitable for bottle aging.
