Quinta da Alorna, in Almeirim, on the south bank of the Tagus River, benefits from the river's influence, the temperature range, and different terroirs, creating wines with freshness, balance, and gastronomic potential.

🍇 Region: Tagus.

👨‍🔬 Winemaking: Winemaking team at Fazenda Alorna.

🌱 Grapes: Touriga Nacional and Cabernet Sauvignon.

🛠️ Winemaking: Grapes harvested separately, fermented in stainless steel at a controlled temperature; after malolactic fermentation, the batch ages in used American and French oak barrels.

⏳ Aging: 12 months in barrels.

🌿 Vineyards: Caatinga, in clay-sandy soil, from mature vines.

👃 Organoleptic Test:

• Color: Purple.
• Aroma: Violets and ripe currants from the Touriga, with spices from the Cabernet and complexity provided by the wood.
• Palate: Balanced and rounded body, floral character and ripe black fruits. Intense and persistent finish.

⏳ Potential for Evolution: Consume immediately or store for the next few years.

🍽️ Serving temperature: Serve between 16 and 18ºC. Ideal with game dishes, kid goat, lamb, and seasoned meats.
