Casas Altas was born in the Beira Interior region, in Souropires, Pinhel, by the hand of José Madeira Afonso, a doctor by profession and winemaker by passion. The brand presents itself as "The Doctor's Wines" and works with the identity of a territory marked by altitude, natural freshness, and poor, granitic soils.
