Description
Casas Altas originates in Souropires, Pinhel, in the Beira Interior region, where high-altitude vineyards, granitic soils, and large temperature variations give rise to wines with a fresh, mineral, and gastronomic profile.
🍇 Region: Beira Interior, Pinhel sub-region.
🌱 Grapes: Verdelho and a selection of white grapes.
🌿 Vineyards: Selection of the best white grape plots at altitude, on granitic soils.
🛠️ Winemaking: Hand-harvested in crates, sorted on a table, gently pressed, naturally decanted, and fermented in stainless steel at 16ºC.
⏳ Aging: Aged in stainless steel until August, with fining and light filtration before bottling.
👃 Organoleptic Test:
- Color: citrine.
- Aroma: very delicate floral.
- Palate: excellent minerality, freshness and elegant profile.
⏳ Potential for Evolution: Wine with altitude freshness and structure to evolve in the bottle, according to the profile of each variety.
🍽️ Serving: Serve at 8-10ºC. Pairs well with fish, seafood, and white meat dishes.
