Description
White port wine produced from traditional white varieties of the hottest and exposed areas of the Douro Demarcated Region.
🍇 Region: Demarcated Region of Douro, Sabrosa and Murça (Cima Corgo)
👨🔬 Winemaker: André Pimentel Barbosa
🌱 varieties: Códega, Rabigato, Viosinho and Malvasia Fina
🛠️ winemaking: Temperature controlled fermentation, interrupted by adding wine brandy.
⏳ stage: 3 years in wood, followed by the capacity of port wines from different harvests, stabilization by cold and filtration.
🌿 vines: vineyards from 10 to 20 years, in shale soils.
🧪 Analysis:
- Alcohol content: 19.10% vol.
- Residual sugar: 152.00 g/l
- Total acidity: 3.60 g/l
- pH: 3.39
👃 Organoleptic test:
- Color: intense yellow
- Aroma: Very floral, with aromas of melon, honey and flowers of the field
- Mouth: fresh, smooth and persistent
🍽️ service: Serve fresh at 10°C. Served with sponge cake, fruit salad and lemon tart.
