João Clara Homenagem Tinto is a tribute to Joaquim Alves, the family patriarch and a key figure in the João Clara project. This regional wine from the Algarve combines the nobility of Touriga Nacional, Syrah, and Alicante Bouschet grape varieties grown in clay soils in the Alcantarilha region.
After a rigorous manual harvest and controlled fermentation, this red wine aged for 18 months in new French oak barrels , which gave it structure, depth and sophistication.
With an intense dark cherry color , it presents spicy aromas with floral notes laced with hints of toffee . On the palate, it is elegant, with ripe tannins, revealing a robust, engaging profile with a long, lingering finish .
Ideal with intense dishes, roast meats, game or spicy cuisine.
