Alentejo regional wine from Herdade da Rocha, produced in Crato, in Portalegre, next to the Serra de São Mamede, with a profile marked by the freshness and identity of the terroir.
🍇 Region: Alentejo — Crato, Portalegre, next to the Serra de São Mamede.
👨🔬 Enologist: Sandra Chaves and Paulo Laureano.
🌱 Castes: 40% Syrah, 40% Touriga Nacional and 20% Alicante Bouschet.
🛠️ Vinification: Destemming and crushing, fermentation in stainless steel vats at 24ºC for 6 to 7 days and prolonged post-fermentation maceration.
⏳ Stage: 9 months in 2nd and 3rd year barrels.
🌿 Vineyards: Vineyards in Crato, municipality of Portalegre, next to the Serra de São Mamede.
🧪 Analysis:
- Alcohol content: 14%.
👃 Organoleptic test:
- Color: Grenade.
- Aroma: dry plum, forest fruits, light floral, spices and toast notes.
- Mouth: Soft, fresh and balanced, with a long and pleasant finish.
🍽️ Service: Excellent with roasted goat, roasted pork, braised tuna, mushroom risotto and cured cheeses.
