Description
A sparkling wine from the Alvarinho variety, planted in sandy loam at an altitude of 90 meters, with a north-south orientation, in the heart of the Monção and Melgaço sub-regions. The location of this vineyard, type of soil, the way the vineyard is conducted and other management factors, provide grapes with very specific characteristics for this type of winemaking.
VINIFICATION
Manual harvest in a 20 kg box, direct pressing with stalk where only a certain fraction of must was selected for decanting and subsequent fermentation in stainless steel. Aging for 21 months on fine lees with regular batonage in the first 7 months and, occasionally, in the remaining. Clarification and circulation having been 16 months of internship before degorgement.
