Terra do Zambujeiro Red 2020 , coming from Borba, in the heart of Alentejo, is a wine of great complexity and sophistication, produced with the utmost attention to detail. The result of an exceptional combination of grape varieties, it reveals the best of the Alentejo terroir.

Varieties and Winemaking

This blend is composed of:

• 36% Aragonese
• 25% Touriga Nacional
• 19% Cabernet Sauvignon
• 14% Alicante Bouschet
• 6% Petit Verdot

The grapes were harvested manually from low-production vineyards, ensuring superior quality. This was followed by a rigorous manual selection of the grapes on the sorting table.
The wine fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks and aged for 24 months in French oak barrels (25% new and 75% used). It has not been filtered, preserving all its authenticity.

This red wine with a classic profile features:

• Color: Intense ruby.
• Aroma: Opulent notes of black fruits , floral touches of roses and violets , dried orange peel and delicate toasted notes.
• Palate: Full-bodied and creamy, with elegant and well-integrated tannins. Long, persistent and fruity finish, with sophisticated texture and remarkable balance.
