Description
Discover Sidónio de Sousa Lapso 2018, a DOC Bairrada red wine that combines tradition, authenticity and character. Produced from Baga (70%) and Merlot (30%) grape varieties, this wine comes from vineyards located in Ancas, Anadia, in a privileged area with clay-limestone soils and a moderate Mediterranean climate.
With fermentation in open vats and manual treading, Lapso 2018 is vinified with total respect for the expression of the grape varieties and the Bairrada terroir. After aging in cement and stainless steel vats, it reveals itself in the bottle as a full-bodied wine, with elegant acidity, firm tannins and a natural freshness that promises excellent evolution in the cellar.
On the nose, aromas of wild fruits and forest notes stand out. In the mouth, it is delicious, with volume, balance and a persistent finish. Ideal for roast meats, baked dishes, rich pastas and soft cheeses.
