Quinta de Saes 2019 is a red wine that reveals all the finesse and complexity of the Dão region , combining tradition, terroir and native grape varieties in perfect harmony. Produced from vines over 45 years old , located at an altitude of 500 meters in granite soils with clay and sand lines , this wine expresses the most authentic and balanced side of Dão.
Made with a classic blend of Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional, Alfrocheiro and Jaen , the wine ferments in stainless steel vats at controlled temperature and ages for 12 months in French Allier oak barrels (2nd year) , which gives it structure, elegance and a very gastronomic profile.
