Quinta da Pellada Carrocel 2021 is one of the most emblematic wines of Dão and Portuguese oenology, created by Álvaro Castro exclusively from Touriga Nacional of old clones , coming from plot 5 of Quinta da Pellada – a vineyard over 85 years old , located at an altitude of 500 meters, in granite soils with clay and sand .

This is a wine that sublimely combines intensity, purity and elegance , being vinified with all the care and respect for the nature of the grape, with fermentation in stainless steel and aging for 24 months in used wooden barrels , giving it structure, freshness and great aging capacity.

Tasting Notes

👀 Color: Intense and bright ruby.
👃 Aroma: Very fine, expressive and complex, with notes of pure red fruit , light floral and mineral nuances.
