Insula "Como Deus o Fez" Terrantez do Pico Magnum 2022 is a rare and exceptional white wine made from one of the Azores' most noble and scarce grape varieties: Terrantez do Pico . This native variety, a cross between Verdelho and Bastardo , was on the brink of extinction—but was preserved by passionate winemakers like Paulo Machado , who proudly revive its legacy.

Originating from the south coast of Pico Island , in the heart of the Pico DOP , this wine reveals the true spirit of the Atlantic: vibrant freshness, volcanic minerality, and striking salinity. Produced in extremely limited quantities (only 1,050 bottles ), Terrantez do Pico 2022 is an elegant wine with a floral and citrus nose , an engaging structure, and a very saline finish.

The name “Como Deus Fez” pays homage to the local saying that immortalized this variety:
“Do not eat or give the grapes of Terrantez, for God made them for wine.”
