Herdade da Bombeira originates in Mértola, in the Alentejo region, next to the Guadiana River, where privileged soils and a warm climate give rise to expressive, fresh wines with a strong regional identity.

🍇 Region: Alentejo, Guadiana River sub-region, Mértola.

👨‍🔬 Winemaker: Bernardo Cabral.

🌱 Grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Alicante Bouschet.

🛠️ Winemaking: Varieties harvested at their ideal point and vinified separately. Total destemming, fermentation in stainless steel vats with temperature control and robotic foot treading. Aged in new barrels for 13 months.

⏳ Aging: In barrels, according to the wine's profile.

🌿 Vineyards: Selected grapes from Herdade da Bombeira, in Mértola, with a strong influence from the Guadiana River.

👃 Organoleptic Test:

• Deep garnet color. Notes of menthol, blackcurrant, and dark fruit, harmonized with hints of toasty oak. Structured, elegant, with soft tannins and a long finish.

⏳ Potential for Evolution: Immediate or over the next 12 years, at 15-16 ºC.

🍽️ Service: All meats, grilled fish, cod drizzled with olive oil, and cheeses.
