Anta de Cima - Sociedade Agrícola Unipessoal, Lda. | Herdade da Anta de Cima, Apartado 96 | 7400-999 Ponte de Sor | antadecima@gmail.com ROSA D'ARGILLA CLARETE DE ALICANTE BOUSCHET MMXVIII This wine originates in the Montargil mountains, in the Alto Alentejo region, at Herdade da Anta de Cima, owned by the Tenreiro family, in a temperate climate, with an average annual rainfall of 650mm, and on Mediterranean clay soils. At Anta de Cima, the last vineyards were uprooted in the 1950s, and as a testament, the old clay amphorae cellar still stands. In 2008, the vineyard was revived, and in 2009 the first Argilla wines, white and red, were produced. THE HARVEST OF 2008 We characterize the year 2008 as a demanding year from a production standpoint. The winter had low rainfall, followed by a rather humid and rainy spring, with these temperatures continuing until the end of June. That year's summer had peaks of intense heat, leading to rather uneven ripening and production losses in some varieties. 👃 Organoleptic Test:

• Aroma: This Alicante Bouschet Claret has a striking mineral nose with notes of forest floor, strawberry, wild berry, and fresh grass.
• Mouth: A mouthfeeling with structure and a very fresh acidity, dominated by herbal and wild notes and a subtle touch of earthiness. A long and mouthwatering finish that reveals its more gastronomic side.
