Description
A semi-sweet Madeira wine from the HM Borges winery, made from the Boal grape variety, with a classic profile and great balance between acidity, sweetness and aromatic complexity.

🌱 Varieties: Boal
🛠️ Winemaking: Destemmed and pressed grapes, with fermentation in stainless steel tanks under strict temperature control. Fermentation is stopped by the addition of neutral wine alcohol, in keeping with the semi-sweet style of the wine.
⏳ Aging: Aged in oak barrels, with an average age of 10 years, combining French and American wood and, in some batches, partial aging in stainless steel.
🌿 Vineyards: Vineyards located mainly on the island of Madeira, in volcanic and basaltic soils with a clayey texture, acidic and rich in organic matter, benefiting from a mild subtropical climate, with hot summers, temperate winters and close proximity to the sea.
