Description

Produced in Quinta do Reguengo, a place chosen many centuries ago by the royal family to send family members and settle there! The bird that inspires the brand is present in the manor's coats of arms and we want the wines to be as intriguing, sophisticated, fascinating and original as he is.

The grapes are transported to the cellar immediately after harvesting in small boxes. They are then gently pressed before entering the fermentation process in stainless steel vats with a refrigeration system with temperature control, from 15º to 18º. Selected fermentation yeasts are added. Maturation in the bottle

Clear and citrine color. Slightly fruity aroma, with citrus nuances, some orange blossom and tropical stone fruits. Fresh mineral and evolved palate with a long and persistent aftertaste.

Excellent aperitif. Pairs well with fish, seafood and roasts.

O Curtimenta é ideal para acompanhar pratos mais ricos de peixe e mariscos. Exemplos incluem caranguejo recheado, camarões panados com mel e coco, e polvo à galega com batatas crocantes. Recomenda-se servir este vinho entre 11 e 13°C para melhor apreciação dos seus sabores.

Tasting:

No aroma, destaca-se pela presença de especiarias como canela e baunilha, complementadas por notas varietais cítricas e toques de frutos secos como avelã e amêndoa. Na boca, apresenta uma acidez viva e sabores bem definidos, com uma textura volumosa e mineralidade, culminando num final prolongado. A influência da madeira confere estrutura e traz uma elegância equilibrada ao paladar.
