Description
Herdade da Bombeira originates in Mértola, in the Alentejo region, next to the Guadiana River, where privileged soils and a warm climate give rise to expressive, fresh wines with a strong regional identity.
🍇 Region: Alentejo, Guadiana River sub-region, Mértola.
👨🔬 Winemaker: Bernardo Cabral.
🌱 Grapes: Arinto and Chardonnay.
🛠️ Winemaking: Skin contact for 6 hours followed by pressing of the grapes. Fermentation at a controlled temperature of 12 ºC.
⏳ Aging: No prolonged aging in wood, preserving freshness and aromatic expression.
🌿 Vineyards: Selected grapes from Herdade da Bombeira, in Mértola, with a strong influence from the Guadiana River.
👃 Organoleptic Test:
- Yellowish-green color. Fruity aroma with notes of citrus and tropical fruits. On the palate, it shows elegance, freshness, and complexity, in a full, smooth, and persistent whole.
⏳ Potential for Evolution: Immediate or within the next 3 years, at 6-8 ºC.
🍽️ Service: Appetizers, cold salads, seafood, fish dishes and sushi.
