Conceito Único Branco 2019 is a limited edition masterpiece, born from a special plot of very old, pre-phylloxera vines located in Freixo de Numão, in the heart of the Douro Superior. Grown on granite soils at an altitude of 600 meters , this exceptional white is a tribute to the purity of the terroir and the Douro winemaking tradition.
Made from a field blend of around 10 traditional grape varieties — including Rabigato, Códega do Larinho, Gouveio, Donzelinho Branco, Folgazão and Arinto —, the wine ferments and ages in French oak barrels, with regular bâtonnage, ensuring unparalleled complexity and elegance.
Tasting notes:
- Aroma: Deep and sophisticated, with mineral, floral and white fruit notes, surrounded by a subtle touch of wood.
- Palate: Structured, fresh and long, with firm acidity and a creamy texture. A wine that evolves beautifully with time in the bottle.
- Aging: 11 months in used barrels + 6 months in bottle.
- Alcohol Content: 13% vol.
