The Conceito Porto Vintage 2021 is a statement of excellence and character, produced only in years of exceptional quality. Created by renowned winemaker Rita Marques , this 2021 Vintage expresses the full power of the Douro Superior in an intense, structured style that offers long aging.
The grapes come from Quinta do Cabido , a family-owned property in the parish of Numão , where the schist soils and mountainous microclimate create ideal conditions for dense, distinctive wines. Fermentation takes place in granite vats with traditional foot treading , complemented by a mechanical robot, respecting Douro tradition.
The 18-month aging in barrels provides a balance between youth and complexity, preserving the purity of the fruit and preparing the wine for prolonged aging in the bottle.
