Description

Philosophy: To express in a single wine the richness of the region's terroirs.

Origin: Grapes from old vines, aged over 60 years, partly in shale/granite transition zones at an altitude of 500m with predominant exposure to the North, others in typically Douro areas with schist soils located in Baixo Corgo and Cima Corgo , at an altitude of 250m with a predominant South/West exposure.

Vinification: Manual harvest in 20Kg boxes. Reception with total destemming, crushing, followed by a cold maceration for 2 days. Fermentation with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel vats at controlled temperature in order to obtain an elegant, smooth wine, without too much extraction.

Stage: 75% stainless steel; 25% used French oak barrels.

Ruby color. Captivating aroma, notable nuances of strawberry and wild fruits where the freshness of the fruit seduces. On the palate, balance prevails, combining fruit with vibrant acidity and silky tannins. Complex but pleasant finish.
