Alvarinho do Gonçalo is the result of a challenge between brothers and the experimental spirit of Anselmo Mendes: a personal interpretation by Gonçalo Mendes of the grape variety shaped by the mountains of Monção and Melgaço.

🌱 Grape Varieties: 100% Alvarinho

🛠️ Winemaking: Very gentle pressing of whole, destemmed grapes and long cold clarification. Complete malolactic fermentation.

⏳ Aging: 9 months in used 400L barrels, followed by extended bottle aging until release.

🌿 Vineyards: Quinta da Torre, Vale de Monção and Melgaço.

Alcohol content: 12.5% vol.

Total Acidity: 6.0 g/L

👃 Organoleptic Test:
- Color: Golden yellow.
- Aroma: Tropical notes and subtle spices, with a touch of malolactic acid.
- Mouth: Round, with good volume and a slight creaminess.
