Description
The name Esculpido (Sculpted) arose from the striking image of some old vines, authentic living sculptures, polished and refined by the passage of time. “Esculpido” is a wine produced with grapes from these same upside-down vines, found at Quinta de Santa Teresa.

🛠️ Winemaking
The grapes arrived at the winery in 24kg boxes. They underwent manual selection followed by destemming, skin maceration, and gentle pneumatic pressing. The must fermented in oak barrels.
👃 Organoleptic Test
On the nose, it presents itself as complex, with notes of spices and dried fruit (hazelnut) tempered by the toasting of the wood. On the palate, it shows itself still youthful, with the wood and acidity well integrated. Notes of stone fruit, thyme, and ginger in a velvety profile, with a saline side and gastronomic potential. It prefers full-bodied wines. It will evolve well in the bottle.

🍽️ Service
