Zambujeiro 2019 is an excellent red wine, produced at the iconic Quinta do Zambujeiro , located in Borba, Alentejo . This is the house's top-of-the-range wine, reflecting the potential of the property's oldest vines and the team's best oenological work.
Varieties and Winemaking
A balanced and sophisticated blend:
- 44% Touriga Nacional
- 35% Alicante Bouschet
- 18% Petit Verdot
- 3% Cabernet Sauvignon
The grapes are harvested and selected manually . Fermentation takes place in vats and small stainless steel tanks , preserving purity and varietal character. The wine aged for 26 months in French oak barrels (80% new and 20% used), without being filtered, guaranteeing full authenticity and complexity.

- Aroma: Intense and complex, with floral notes, ripe wild fruits , cedar, black tea and an elegant touch of toasted wood.
